The Anderson Fire Department hopes to purchase a new tanker truck at the Fire Department Instructors Conference in Indianapolis. The department is planning to replace a 16-year-old tanker truck that has already been replaced twice and continues to leak. The department has budgeted $400,000 but is hoping for a final price of $350,000 from one of the manufactures at the conference.
