High school students from across the country plan to participate in a 17-minute walkout to pay respects to the 17 individuals who were killed in the Parkland, Florida massacre. Anderson Community Schools interim Superintendent Timothy Smith says most area schools support a neutral position on the issue, allowing students to voice their opinions in a safe environment. At ten this morning, Muncie Central high school students will participate in a 17-minute walkout to pay respects to the individuals who were killed in Parkland. Students worked with administrators to plan the local leg of the National School Walkout.
