Indiana’s senators aren’t tipping their hand just yet on whether they’ll vote to confirm President Trump’s new secretary of state and C-I-A director. Republican Todd Young and Democrat Joe Donnelly both served with C-I-A director Mike Pompeo in the House. Young calls Pompeo “smart and experienced,” and says he looks forward to considering his nomination for secretary of state, as well as that of Pompeo’s deputy Gina Haspel to replace him at the C-I-A.
