Appeals Court Denies Muncie Man

The Indiana Court of Appeals has upheld the convictions of a Muncie man who fired gunshots at two Delaware County sheriff’s deputies. Gregory Bruce Grider Jr. argued that there was insufficient evidence to support his two attempted murder convictions and that his 80-year prison sentence was too harsh. Grider testified that he intended to commit “suicide by cop,” and had not intended to harm the officers.
