Amended Needle Exchange Possible Again In Madison County

The board of directors for Aspire Health of Indiana has voted to start a Harm Reduction Program that will include a syringe exchange. The goal of the program is to reduce the spread of hepatitis C and HIV in Madison County. A change in the program was the elimination of a kit that included a tourniquet and condoms. Only syringes and “cookers” will be distributed.
