A new community gathering place is being planned for Muncie’s east side Whitely Neighborhood. The Whitely Community Council bought the 1208 East Centennial Avenue property last January to house the councils’ offices, food pantry, community tool shed and a place to conduct monthly meetings. The council plans to attract additional businesses & nonprofits as a resource hub and community event space.
