Firefighters battled a blaze east of Albany Tuesday. It happened at a Riverside Community mobile home on State Road 28 at around 3:45 yesterday afternoon. The quick-moving flames spread to the walls and roof, gutting the interior and destroying a porch. No injuries were reported. The blaze is believed to have started on a cooking stove.
