BSU Experts Say Body Fat, Too Much Or Too Little, Can Be A Problem In Extreme Cold

Poor health can make cold temps more intense. So say Ball State University experts who point out both carrying too much weight and too little weight can cause issues in times of extreme cold. They say without proper levels of body fat, which serves to insulate the body, you may feel colder. A healthy body fat percentage is 12-15 percent for young men and 25-28 percent for young women
