Kroger Payless Helps Out Area Non-Profits

Wednesday, on the day before the public opening for the new Muncie Payless Supermarket on McGalliard Road, company officials from Kroger Payless presented area not-for-profits with some big Christmas gifts. Child adult Resource Services, $1,000. Inside Out Community Services, $1,000.
Salvation Army Muncie, $25,000. And Second Harvest Food Bank ECI, $50,000. As you heard on the radio this morning the store opened to the public at 8 a.m., and Company officials wanted to prove their commitment to community with these donations.
