Muncie civil rights activists and community icon Hurley Goodall will be honored next year with a life-sized statue. The Delaware County Historical Society has formed a committee to select a site and artist to create the piece. Goodall was one of the community’s first black firefighters and the first black legislator elected from Delaware County.
