Officials say Charles Manson, cult leader and mastermind behind the 1969 deaths of actress Sharon Tate and 6 others, has died in a Kern County Hospital. The California Department of Corrections confirms that infamous cult leader and murderer Charles Manson has died of natural causes. He was 83.
