One dollar adoptions will be held at Muncie Animal Care and Services to help ease some overcrowding there. The event happens Wednesday from 10am to noon and from 1 to 5:30pm. Shelter officials say the pets are spayed and neutered, up to date on all shots, dewormed and come with a complimentary wellness exam with a participating veterinarian, plus all dogs are microchipped. If you rent your residence, you have to have proof that it is, in fact, pet friendly.
