Can lower speed limits around the Ball State University campus curb accidents and injuries? Those limits for areas around University and McKinley Avenue are being lowered from 30 miles per hour to 20. The action came following a meeting between the city streets head, the mayor and representatives from the school. Campus Police had recommended those speed limits be reduced.
