Randolph County authorities say she tried to smuggle drugs into the county jail. 24-year-old Jessica Hersey tried to hide suboxone strips on an elevator in the county courthouse. The plan was for another inmate to find them there and then deliver the strips to Hersey’s boyfriend behind bars.
