They’re about to begin Phase 2 of a major paving project along 12 miles of State Road 3 between Muncie and New Castle. This Thursday, work crews will close the right lanes of northbound and southbound 3 with one lane of traffic in each direction and shift them onto the recently completed left lanes.
Work crews are closing one lane of southbound State Road 9 for pavement repairs between Interstate 69 and Huntsville Road. The alternating lane closures are expected to last about two weeks. One lane of southbound State Road 9 will remain open through the construction zone.
