Wisconsin Developer Looking for Tax Credits to Develop Two Muncie Sites

A Wisconsin developer is set to spend around $13 million to build 71 apartments at the site of the old Muncie Trade School and on another site that used to house a Chevrolet plant.

Commonwealth Development Corp. is in the process of securing tax credits to make the projects feasible.

The old trade school site at 1491 Kilgore -should the project go through- would be the site of a 36-unit apartment building called Fourteen 91 Lofts. The other site at Eighth and Elliott streets would have a 35-unit townhouse apartment building.
