The starting bid is $500,000. A southside Muncie motel will be up for an online auction in bankruptcy court after being condemned by the city. The Red Carpet Inn on South Madison Street will go on the block September 12th. The City of Muncie condemned the motel on August 15, claiming it has structural issues and is infested with bedbugs, fleas, and mice.
