1-year-old Levi Hoyt is recovering at a hospital in Muncie, after he ingested heroin. His mother however is being charged with neglect. Levi’s cousin Cody Young brought the 1-year-old in after he saw he was overdosing. Young told police at the hospital that the boy’s mother, 26-year-old Daisha Clark, tried to stop him from bringing Levi to Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie. Police searched Clark’s Yorktown home and found traces of heroin and a used syringe. She’s in jail on neglect charges.
