The Muncie Community Schools Board of Trustees is set to name a new board member at their August 8th meeting. The board must interview a total of 12 candidates before appointing someone to take over for Bev Kelley. The man who was elected to succeed her — Steve Edwards — is now a member of the consulting firm appointed by the state as emergency manager of the district.
