Alexandria officials have announced that Marion-based Horner’s Butcher Block will locate in the former Cox Supermarket. Horner’s is expected to open in the late fall and will hire about 30 full-time and part-time employees. Alexandria Mayor Ron Richardson says “It’s a good thing for Alex and the downtown area.” Horner’s also operates in Fairmount.
