Muncie police were investigating the discovery of a man’s body near a southside intersection. It was reported Saturday morning along Penn Street, north of 18th. The deceased has been identified at 29-year-old Dustin R. Rhodes of northern Delaware County. Investigators believe 32-year-old Matthew Shackelfurd dumped Rhodes’ body. He is facing charges that include reckless homicide.
