With just a $5 bill, you could bring home a new furry friend and change an animal’s life. Muncie Animal Care Services will offer $5 pet adoptions Friday and Saturday as the shelter is over capacity. Staff members said during the month of June, the shelter has accepted 300 animals. The shelter will open Friday from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. All animals at the shelter have been fixed, vaccinated and microchipped.
