After operating at a nearly $100,000 loss last year at the hands of an outside entity, the Muncie-owned Tuhey Pool is back and ready for the 2017 season. The pool at 500 W. North Street will reopen Saturday. Last year, White River Aquatics ran the pool and losses were substantial. Since then, the parks superintendent and two other employees have taken courses to become certified pool operators.
