If you steal your rival’s campaign signs, you’ll probably end up footing the bill — just ask Hamilton County Councilman Jeff Hern. He pleaded guilty this week to stealing Councilman Rick McKinney’s campaign signs last April. Hern must pay $891 to cover the cost of the signs and write his fellow councilman an apology letter.
