The trial of Mark Emerson got underway Wednesday. The Anderson man is accused in the stabbing death of Cody Gay and kidnapping his estranged wife and three small children in June 2015. His former wife, now Laura Selke, took the stand to testify that Mark Emerson burst into her home and attacked Cody Gay with a gun, machete and a knife.
