The director of the Muncie Area Career Center is calling it quits. After 24 years with Muncie Community Schools, Jo Ann McCowan has decided to leave her position at the MACC. She says her departure is unrelated to the school district’s financial struggles, amid talk of closing the facility and moving its programs to Ivy Tech.
