An Indiana State Trooper is credited with help saving the life of a Muncie woman. Trooper Jacob Ridgway was off duty and driving through a Muncie neighborhood when he noticed smoke coming from a home. The elderly male occupant of that home was standing outside but his wife was still inside. Trooper Ridgway was able to locate the woman and safely escort her outside.
