A contractor working on renovations to Anderson’s former General Motors Plant 20 sparked a fire that caused minor damage to the structure. No one was injured in the fire at the soon-to-be-home of Sutong China Tire Resources. The company is opening a new distribution center in the Anderson building. Officials say the fire will have no impact on plans to begin operations by June.
