The jury deliberated for about two and a half hours before they delivered the guilty verdict. 49-year-old Anderson resident Rodolpho Malpica was found guilty on a charge of Level 1 felony child molesting involving a then-5-year-old girl in 2015. Malpica is facing up to 50 years in prison. Sentencing will be set at a later date.
