An April 3rd court hearing is set in the case of an Albany man accused of sexually abusing a child. Police say 25 year old James Roscoe Scofield of the 400 block of North Foster Street, is charged with two counts of child molesting.
Court documents say Scofield engaged in sex acts with the child, who is under six years old, during the first nine months of 2016. Scofield posted $30,000 bond and is free at this time.
