It’s an extensive construction plan and it’s going to affect traffic on State Road 9 for at least three weeks. Beginning today, crews in Madison County will start a $4.6 million combined construction project between Interstate 69 and Huntsville Road, closing the right lane of northbound State Road 9 for nearly a month.
