Indiana State Police continue to investigate what they are calling a “highly organized” theft ring. Investigators recovered construction equipment valued at more than $500,000 at several Madison County locations. It appears that most of the items were stolen from elsewhere in Indiana. Police were first alerted to the situation when a man called to tell them he found construction equipment that was stolen from his company earlier in the day on one of the properties in question.
