A Ridgeville man is accused of attacking a female acquaintance at his home, repeatedly punching her in the face and choking her. 36-year-old William K. Hoyt has been charged with strangulation and battery. When he was arrested, Hoyt reportedly warned a deputy that he had an “expensive lawyer.” We’ll find out when he appears in court Aug. 9.
