The job description for Vice Presidents is not well-defined. Indiana Republican Party Chairman Jeff Cardwell expects an important role for Mike Pence in that office. Cardwell calls it the “ultimate public-private partnership” between business tycoon Donald Trump as Chief Executive and Pence, with the experience of a Governor and a member of Congress.
