Rescuing Without Repercussions

If a newly proposed bill becomes law, you may soon be able to rescue an animal from a hot car without repercussions. A new bill by Republican Representative Tony Cook would grant immunity to people who rescue pets from a vehicle that’s too hot or too cold. The bill has Democratic support from Hammond Rep. Linda Lawson. Twenty other states already have similar laws in place.
