Civic Leader Al Rent Dies

A civic leader and long time Ball State University officer, Al Rent has died. The announcement came in a social media posts, including one from his twin brother, reports the Star Press. Rent had been battling cancer. He was executive director and general manager for public broadcasting operations at Ball State since 2015 and was seen on air often during broadcasts. Mayor Dennis Tyler saying Rent, ” Always had a smile for you with something good to say.”
