Four deaths have been blamed on the flu in Indiana this season. The State Health Commissioner, Dr. Jerome Adams, says a flu shot is your best defense. In response to a recent increase in flu-like illness across the state, the Health Department also urges other precautions–washing your hands, covering a cough or sneeze with your arm or a tissue and staying home from work or school if you get sick.
