Felony counts face a man from Muncie accused of taking a 13 year old girl from school. Police say 34 year old Denton Brown of the 27-hundred block of East 29th Street is a friend of the family of the girl. He caught up to her as she was walking into school at Southside Middle and told her he had permission to pick her up and needed to talk to her. Brown drove a distance and told the girl it looked like she wouldn’t be going back to school that day. The girl called emergency personnel and police arrested Brown.
