The human remains found in Kentucky in 2011 have been identified as a missing Indianapolis woman. Carma Purpura was believed to be the victim of serial killer truck driver, Bruce Mendenhall, who was charged with her death, along with several others after the blood of at least 10 people was found in the cab of his truck. She was last seen at a truck stop on Indianapolis’ south side in July of 2007. Mendenhall is believed to be responsible for as many as seven truck stop killings in four states.
