It won’t reopen until till there’s a change in its leadership. State American Legion commanders have ordered the Chesterfield post closed until new leadership can be installed. Commanders fired the administration of Post 408 citing “administrative differences” and temporarily closed the popular Chesterfield veterans club. The Herald Bulletin reports that club leaders failed to correct violations from both national and state American Legion constitutional policies.
