School administrators in Muncie won’t get a small stipend for extra work they do anymore. They were getting extra money for taking on other duties like overseeing the Kindergarten Fair, Celebrate Excellence. some testing programs, textbook adoption and the Christmas Sling. The school board this week approved a plan to eliminate the stipend, and that will save the district almost five thousand dollars. The district is struggling to balance the budget this year.
