Indiana’s voter system is safe from hackers according to the Indiana Election Division. The FBI sent out an alert warning that election databases in two states were hacked in the past few weeks. The two states targeted were Illinois and Arizona. In both cases, hackers reportedly stole the personal data of hundreds of thousands of voters. The Department of Homeland Security is working with states like Indiana to make sure the voting software is protected against hackers.
