$10 Million To Fix BHS Plumbing

The Blackford County Schools board has approved taking out $10 million in loans to fix the high school’s plumbing, most of which is from the building’s original construction in 1969. Superintendent Scot Croner says the additional debt will not increase taxes because the district is finishing paying a previous bond. The plumbing work will bring the district one step closer to likely consolidation.
