Police arrested a Muncie man for attacking the mother of his child. The man is 26-year-old Shawn Conwell. He was arrested for domestic battery and strangulation. The alleged victim told police that Conwell choked her “until she only saw black” – dragged her out of their home by her feet and smashed her cell phone to stop her from calling police. He was held in the Delaware County jail under a $10,000 bond.
