They got busted for selling booze on Christmas. Indiana Excise Police cited 109 Speedway convenience stores on Wednesday after a month-long investigation into the “unlawful sale of alcohol on Christmas Day.” Six of those stores are here in East Central Indiana: W. Commerce Road in Daleville, W. Jackson and Tillotson Ave. in Muncie, Broad St. in New Castle and W. Smith St. in Yorktown. In Indiana, it’s illegal to sell alcoholic beverages from 7 a.m. on Dec. 25 until 3 a.m. on Dec. 26.
