Muncie officials broke ground last week on the area’s first compressed natural gas station. The 2-point-nine-million dollar facility will be constructed across from the Muncie Sanitary District in the 700 block of East Centennial Avenue. It is expected to be open by mid-May. The move is expected to free up significant money in government transportation budgets.
