The Muncie Community Schools bus referendum will be voted on Tuesday. If passed, more than 4,000 kids will have a yellow bus ride to and from school. M&M Bus Company – provider of the service has a contract with the district that runs through June of 2014. The school district is not legally required to provide transportation for its students.

Grief counselors are available at Noblesville High School today to help students deal with the death of a fellow classmate. 16-year-old Aubrey Peters of Noblesville died at an area hospital after being shot in the chest late Sunday.
