A Hartford City man taking his daughter to school was injured in a two-vehicle crash near Eaton Thursday morning. The crash was reported about 7:35 a.m. at Walnut Street and Delaware County Road 800-N. It is believed 54-year-old Jeffery R. Stephens pulled into the path of an oncoming vehicle driven by 21-year-old Aaron L. Williams of Eaton. All three were taken to the hospital. Stevens suffered internal injuries; Williams and his daughter were treated and released.

The City of Indianapolis will not be hosting the Democratic or Republican National Conventions in 2016. Marc Lotter, spokesman for Mayor Greg Ballard says the city won‘t be submitting bids for either convention. Lotter says the city is already committed to hosting the NCAA Men‘s Final Four and NCAA Women‘s Olympics Trials among other events.
