A Marion County judge has ruled that the defendants in the Richmond Hill explosion case can have separate trials. Monserrate Shirley, Mark Leonard and his brother Robert Leonard are charged in the November 2012 explosion that killed their two neighbors. The trio is accused of conspiring to blow up Shirley’s house so they could collect the insurance payout. The trials will likely take place in June 2014.
