A severely burned Anderson woman has died three months after suffering the injuries in what her family has claimed was an attack inside her home. Investigators were able to talk briefly with 38-year-old Melanie Lyons before she died Monday. The July 10 fire remains under investigation and that no arrests have been made. Her family believes a jailed man whom her daughter was to testify against in a child molesting case arranged the attack.
